I watched the Twilight movie the other night and, I swear to God, it was a totally different movie than the horrible cinematic abortion I saw in theaters a year ago. I really enjoyed it this time around and can't wait for New Moon which looks like it will be awesome ahhhhh.

WOW HEY LJ LONG TIME NO SEE
I really have nothing important to write. That's a lie, I have a lot I could write about but I am fucking lazy.
I am home in New Orleans until tuesday; Saw some of my frandz this past weekend and hope to see more this weekend, then back to NYC on the 10th; Then Dir en Grey on the 11th?! I don't know.

First of all:
HAPPY (BELATED) BIRTHDAYS TO TABE AND GIN!!
(Tabe I did make you a cake, but my dad ate part of it before I could take pix~ ;o; I'm making one again tonight when I get home from work~)
Second of all:
Moving to the NJ/NYC area in 2 days;
I put off making an entry about this until I told all of my close irl friends as personally as I could b/c I didn't want them to hear about it via lj, but that's the biggest thing that's happened for a while. I've spent the past week getting shit together, packing up my stuff, bringing it to the post, working out stuff w/ school etc... So that's been keeping me away from the immediate internet~
Otherwise:
Buying lots of stupid and useless stuff w/ Emelie, BUT A LOT OF USEFUL STUFF TOO ughhh; the other day I bought leopard print rain boots for the snow (lmao SNOW OH GOD) and about 6 pairs of thick socks. I DON'T THINK ANKLE SOCKS WILL CUT IT IN WINTER.
I got some new stockings from Urban Outfitters today (kinda on the pricy side, but they look like Betsey so I couldn't resist them), then 15 min later slid in a puddle after taking pix w/ a crawfish statue and ripped them. Fuck my life.
Otherwise I have a bottle of Disaronno at home waiting for me and a tiny bit of packing left, work tomorrow and then it'll be off to NYC airport in the morning on Wednesday.
Internet time for the next week may be slim to non-existant, so text//call me if you need anything or want to talk!

I'd botched a hairdye job last night; I wanted to go purple, then discovered I didn't have any purple. "Oh well, no big loss," I thought to myself, "I'll just go back to Atomic Pink!"
I got some Color Oops, got my hair back to pink... then put Herbal Essences Bleach blonde dye at the roots and a bit on the darker areas to even out the tone. After rinsing the bleach out, I discover that my hair went back to being black. What the fuck, Herbal Essences.
So I just dyed my whole head a burgundy color. Not as planned, and christ was I upset. $20+ spent just to come full circle. I retold the story to Jordan with much woe after he got off of work, and saying it aloud made it sound like a really stupid and trivial thing to be upset about, but seriously. FML. $20.
So today I went to get my nails done to cheer myself up; the salon didn't accept walkins, so I went and bought some self tanner on sale instead. I am now orange and sparkle Edward Cullen. Fuck yes.
Also got upgraded to a V.I.B member @ Sephora for spending too much money there; Now I'm getting sweet deals on even more stuff I don't need! Again, fuck yes.
Life is looking up since the hairdye incident. |

Also lol cgl. Why does everyone think I am so obsessed w/ meow_tan? I get my occasional lulz at her expense (and a lot of other people for that matter) but meow_tan is old news.
You know who I am obsessed with though? Lady GaGa.
It's a problem, really. I need to remove these songs from my ipod and go cold turkey or something because this is ridiculous. |

I don't know why so many Youtube gurus think MAC has made a marketing mistake by selling tinted moisturizers at the end of summer; autumn/winter is when people complain the most about dry skin and lack of sunlight/tanning. In that sense, I personally think tinted moisturizer before winter is a great idea... but I guess sales will be the judge of that haha~
Emelie and I walked to the sketchy convenience store along the bayou @ 1:45 in the morning to get cigarettes and powerade. Green Squall has been renamed to Sour Melon. What the fuck, Powerade? |

Today was a good day~ we slept in for most of it (after staying up until noon) and then met up w/ my coworkers to hang out, play video games & go to IHOP. Went home and watched Silent Hill, read deco mags, etc. It was nice. I love my coworkers lol. ♥

If you don't want others to see you on certain sites, then maybe you shouldn't be going there. A lot of them are acting like it's an incredible breach of their own personal security and privacy; it's okay to see who's visiting your journal, but it's not okay for you to be seen on other journals.
